CEO Sadick Assah (Sleeky) Commends Swift Response of Metropolitan Police Service (MPS)
It is with a heavy heart that I, Sadick Assah, known affectionately as Sleeky, CEO of Sleeky Promotions, must address the recent harrowing incident that befell members of my team in the United Kingdom.
The Incident
In the early hours of Tuesday, March 19, 2024, our residence was invaded by seven armed individuals. They demanded my presence and the proceeds from the successful Efya Live in Concert, which took place on Saturday, March 16th. Regrettably, I was not present during the attack, as I was attending a business meeting.
Colleagues in Harm’s Way
At the time of the intrusion, my esteemed colleagues were present:
- Enock Asare, fondly referred to as Feeling Daddy, broadcaster manager at Empire FM in Takoradi.
- Talented musician Bahdest Shakes.
They bore the brunt of the assailants’ aggression, enduring physical harm due to my absence and the lack of funds to satisfy the criminals’ demands.
