

The Tagoe Sisters, a legendary Ghanaian gospel music duo, have apologized to renowned music producer Zapp Mallet for his exclusion from their 40th anniversary celebration.
In a statement issued on October 16, 2023, the management of the Tagoe Sisters admitted that they had included Zapp Mallet’s name on the VIP guest list for both events organized in honor of the anniversary, but that his exclusion was an “unpardonable oversight on their part and that of the event organizers.”
The statement went on to say that the Tagoe Sisters “sincerely apologize” to Zapp Mallet, and that his “impact on the sisters’ careers cannot be understated.”
Zapp Mallet is one of the most respected music producers in Ghana. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the Ghanaian music industry, including the Tagoe Sisters, Kojo Antwi, and Daddy Lumba. He is also the founder of the Zapp Mallet Music Group, one of the leading record labels in Ghana.
The Tagoe Sisters’ 40th anniversary celebration was a grand affair, with performances from some of the biggest names in Ghanaian music. The event was attended by thousands of fans, and was broadcast live on television.
