Tragic Loss: Three Ghanaian Police Officers Perish in Kyekyewere Accident

The Ghana Police Service is in mourning following the devastating loss of three gallant officers in a fatal accident near Kyekyewere, a town situated along the Accra-Kumasi Highway. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 27, and has left the nation in shock.

The Incident

A white police Jeep, belonging to the Formed Police Unit (FPU), was found in a bush near Kyekyewere, its doors unhinged. Tragically, spots of blood were visible in the surrounding bushes. The exact cause of the accident remains unclear and it seems it had a burst tyre, but the officers were on their way for police operational duties when the tragedy struck.
