Following a heated argument between the two, Kwasi Aboagye, a well-known Ghanaian media figure and the anchor of Peace FM’s entertainment review program, retaliated against Alordia, the creator of the Ghana Music Awards UK.

The argument started after Aboagye questioned the £80,000 that the awards’ organizers gave to Shatta Wale in his comments.

Alordia responded bluntly, calling Aboagye’s comments absurd, unjustified, and disrespectful of the significant expenses spent in planning the famous event. Alordia defended the legitimacy of the Ghana Music Awards UK and asserted that Kwasi Aboagye’s remarks were motivated by hatred and envy.

Alordia took it a step further, accusing Aboagye of continuously seeking him out to get tickets to the UK. Alordia asserted that he declined to comply because he believed Aboagye’s motivations were far from sincere.

“For the past two years, Kwasi Aboagye has been hounding me to buy a ticket so he can visit the UK. But I resisted since I was aware of his ulterior motives. He had three times invited me to his presentation, and each time, they set me up. Listen to him; he speaks with malice in his voice. You cannot set me up because I am an entertainer; it will not work. Alordia stated this in an interview on Rainbow Entertainment with Rainbow Radio 92.4FM in the UK. “He hates me and does not mean well for me,” she said.

Kwasi Aboagye denied that he pleaded with Alordia for a plane ticket to the UK during a segment of his show on Peace FM on Tuesday in reaction to Alordia’s allegations. Aboagye claimed that Alordia had volunteered to get him a ticket after giving him free airtime on his show over the years to advertise his awards show in the UK.

The recognized media figure continued by emphasizing that one of his close pals in the UK had allegedly made fun of the concept when Alordia supposedly offered to procure him a ticket. Kwasi Aboagye claims that the buddy had questioned if Alordia could afford to purchase a ticket given that he worked as an Uber driver and that his expenses in the UK appeared to be difficult to cover.

Kwasi Aboagye said that his ten-year UK visa was still valid, making him completely independent in terms of travel arrangements. He continued by saying that he could have easily asked his employer, Fadda Dickson, to obtain a ticket if he had ever required one.
